PADA

Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Aotearoa is a national charity that champions perinatal wellbeing in our communities. They provide advocacy and awareness through training and facilitating connections and tools for health care providers who are supporting families with anxiety & depressions due to pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting.

PADA’s website had a thorough list of local support services for whānau. As well as downloadable fact sheets and resources available for families.

 

HONO is a transformative 2-Day Hono for Health Professionals and Community Leaders in the Pasifika and Māori perinatal mental health space. Hosted by Jo Teina and Jasmine Davis this transformative 2-day Hono brings together health professionals and community leaders, to explore and strengthen culturally appropriate approaches to perinatal mental health. Rooted in Pacifika and Maori values, this event aims to build meaningful connections and share knowledge that supports the mental wellbeing of Pasifika and Maori mothers and their whānau.
